PDO THREAD LIFT Non-surgical faceLift

The PDO Thread Lift is an innovative procedure to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin. Consisting of the use of Polydioxanone which is a potent synthetic fiber that dissolves after a certain time in the tissue. It is a minimally invasive procedure.

Polydioxanone is a material that has been used in medicine for many years to assist with wound healing. Polydioxanone stimulates the tissue neocolagenesis process which causes the skin to produce collagen (the protein responsible for the tension and firmness) in addition it stimulates the fibroblast skin cells to produce elastin ( the protein responsible for skin elasticity).

The needle is inserted into the subcutaneous of the SMAS layer of the skin, and when the needle is taken out, the threads remain implanted in the skin. Insertion of dozens of needles to the deeper layer of the skin with absorbable threads activates their natural regenerative process and mechanical stimulation of wound healing and tissue contraction.

Who is a good candidate for A PDO Thread lift?

The best candidates for PDO Thread Lifts are men and women who are beginning to experience the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, sagging of the midface and lower face/neck areas.

Which areas are most effectively treated by PDO Threads?

For the body, we have seen the most visible results with arms, thighs, and abdomen correction. For the face, this would be the nasolabial fold, jawline, double chin zones, and neck.

Can PDO be used alongside other aesthetic procedures?

The benefits of PDO Threads are best when combined with other therapies, to deliver the optimal result. This includes PRP, dermal fillers, Botox, and fractional laser treatment.

It varies depending on the patent‘s age at the time, degree of sagging, and the number of threads used. The result of a single procedure normally lasts for at least 10 months, but 2 further treatments could extend the result to approximately 2 years.
